See what
awaits you

Before deciding, see it for yourself. This is what awaits you — the rooms, the people, the atmosphere.

It surprised me enormously. I made other simulations because it is huge in my country, but this was another level. I felt included, valued and with a voice to be heard. Moreover, the opportunity of knowing other cultures, how the people I talked with were able to establish a constructive dialogue where all cultures and sides were accepted. I was responsible for representing a country that had nothing to do with my ideologies. It was tough, I'm not going to lie, but the best prize I won was not a diploma, but the passionate hug that a person from that country gave me because she considered I had represented her and her ideologies during the simulation. Because of that, I thank enormously the organisation for making this possible and being able to educate the generations to come on values like dialogue, respect and empathy.

Invest in your future

What's missing
from your journey

University gives you the theoretical foundations. But the job market wants more. It wants people who can speak in public, negotiate, make decisions under pressure and build real international relationships.

  • Public speaking in front of hundreds of people: no university truly teaches this
  • Negotiation and mediation with people from different cultures: only learned in the field
  • A genuine international network: not built on LinkedIn, built in person
  • An experience to put on your CV that recruiters notice and recognize immediately

The growth you keep

You come home with
a stronger version of yourself

Change the World Paris is not just an event. It's the moment you step out of your routine, truly put yourself to the test, and discover you have more voice, more value, and more confidence than you thought.

More self-confidence

You set off with doubts, shyness or fear of not being up to it. You come back with the concrete awareness that you can hold your own in international settings and make your voice heard.

The courage to put yourself out there

Speaking, engaging, defending your ideas in English in front of others: at first it can be daunting. Then it becomes a challenge overcome that changes the way you see yourself.

Relationships that stay with you

In Paris you don't just attend an event. You meet people, stories and perspectives different from your own. And from that exchange often come bonds, memories and an open-mindedness you carry long after.

Don't worry about your English — it's not a language assessment, and nobody expects perfection. What matters is your curiosity and willingness to push yourself. Taking part in the selection process is already the first step to stepping outside your comfort zone.

The venue

The UNESCO
venue

In past editions, Change the World MUN has had the opportunity to hold institutional moments at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris, hosting the opening and closing ceremonies of the event in this setting.

UNESCO is one of the main centres of international cooperation, a place where delegations and institutions from around the world meet every day. Living these moments in an environment of this level adds an even more concrete and meaningful dimension to the experience.

CWMUN session at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris

It is important to emphasise that access to the UNESCO venue is always subject to the organisation's approval and availability of spaces, in order to ensure full compatibility with official institutional activities.

Change the World Academy is committed to facilitating the organisation of these experiences — where authorisation is granted — without any additional cost or conditions external to programme participation.

It is also essential to clarify that participation in CWMUN and related activities is in no way linked to institutional bodies such as UNESCO, which receive no compensation and operate according to their own independent policies.

This opportunity represents a concrete chance to connect with real contexts of international diplomacy, experiencing first-hand environments normally accessible only to official delegations.

Testimonials

What those
who were there
say about it

I've had the pleasure of attending Change the World Model United Nations (CWMUN) conferences twice as a student. Both times were unforgettable experiences! The atmosphere at each event is truly something special, with participants from all over the world, creating an environment that is inspiring and full of positive energy. You can just feel how much passion is behind each student and how everyone, even if we don't share the same background or culture has similar values and goals (climate change, social and gender equality etc.), which for me at least is always super inspiring and gives so much hope!

This was truly an amazing experience and it couldn't have been successful without their outstanding support and leadership as well as the great initiative and dedication from the team at large. I think this is something EVERY high school or university student should try to experience at least once throughout their academic tenure.

Change the world MUN was one of the biggest forum of students, well trained and well educated. It was great, everything went alright. This is what the students need to understand the difficult organisation behind the United Nations, to finally take action in something that is going to change the world and the future of everyone. This forum is for sure going to change everyone in a positive way, made them thinking about the worries of the future. Thank you so much to the staff and to everybody that was involved into such amazing experience.

EVENT - CWMUN PARIS 2026

What is CWMUN Paris 2026?

CWMUN Paris 2026 is an international experience that brings together students from different countries for a Model United Nations conference in Paris. It is designed for young people who want to challenge themselves, grow in an international environment, and take part in something more meaningful than a traditional academic activity.

What will I actually do during the experience?

During the programme, you will take part in a Model UN simulation, work with other students, discuss global issues, and experience a dynamic international environment. It is a hands-on opportunity to develop skills such as leadership, critical thinking, teamwork, and public speaking.

Do I need previous MUN experience to apply?

No, previous MUN experience is not required. Many students join for the first time and use this opportunity to discover themselves in a more international and challenging setting. What matters most is your motivation and willingness to get involved.

How do I know if this experience is right for me?

If you are curious, ambitious, and interested in stepping outside your comfort zone, this experience may be a strong fit for you. CWMUN Paris is designed for students who want to grow, meet like-minded peers, and take part in an international educational journey with real personal value.

Is it really worth it?

For many students, the value goes far beyond the event itself. It is an opportunity to build confidence, meet people from around the world, strengthen important skills, and add a meaningful international experience to your personal and academic journey.

CHANGE THE WORLD ACADEMY

Who organises the programme?

The programme is promoted by Associazione Diplomatici and Change the World Academy, organisations that have been offering international educational experiences to students for over 25 years. Their long-standing experience is one of the reasons why many students choose to begin this journey with confidence.

Is the application free?

Yes, the initial application is free and comes with no obligation. It is simply the first step to learn more about the programme, enter the selection process, and understand whether this experience is the right fit for you.

What happens after I apply and how does the interview work?

After submitting your details, you will receive access to the booking system to schedule your interview. The interview takes place online on Google Meet, is free of charge, and is not meant to feel intimidating. It is a chance for us to get to know you better, understand your motivation, and help you explore whether this experience matches your goals.

Can I receive a merit-based grant?

Yes. By taking part in the selection process, you may be considered for a merit-based grant of up to €800, which can partially cover the enrolment costs. The grant is awarded based on merit, so the interview is also an important opportunity to show your motivation and potential.

What if I am interested but still unsure?

That is completely normal. Many students start with doubts and questions before deciding to move forward. The application and interview process are designed to help you understand the programme better, clarify your concerns, and make a more informed decision without pressure.
